Introduction to Domestic Violence Advocacy with Lutheran Settlement House
Domestic violence is a pattern of behaviors by which a person seeks power and control over their intimate partner or ex-partner. It can affect people of all races, income levels, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and ages. The effects of domestic violence can last long after the abuse has stopped.
Lutheran Settlement House is one of four non-profit agencies that provide services for victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children.
Join us to learn how you can become an advocate in supporting individuals through the emotional, physical, and legal aftermath of domestic violence.
