 t success.\nRecognize common signs that a student may be experiencing basi
 c needs security or other non-academic barriers that could impact their ac
 ademic performance.\nIdentify opportunities to connect students with Singl
 e Stop through supportive conversations and timely referrals.\nDemonstrate
  how to refer students by sharing the Single Stop QR code and encouraging 
 them to create a Single Stop profile.\nUnderstand the role faculty can pla
 y in fostering student retention and success by connecting students to ava
 ilable campus resources.\n\n\nSeminar Description\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents of
 ten face challenges outside the classroom that can significantly impact th
 eir ability to persist and succeed in college. Food insecurity\, housing i
 nstability\, financial hardship\, and other basic needs barriers can affec
 t attendance\, engagement\, and academic performance.This session will int
 roduce faculty and staff to the services offered by Single Stop & Student 
 Care Network and highlight how these resources support student success and
  retention. Participants will learn to recognize signs that a student may 
 need assistance\, engage in supportive conversations\, and connect student
 s to resources through a simple referral process using the Single Stop QR 
 code. By partnering with Single Stop\, faculty and staff can play a vital 
 role in helping students overcome barriers and stay on the path to achievi
 ng their educational goals.
